Crude Oil Storage Tank Farms Fire Protection System
Crude Oil Storage Tank Farms Fire Protection System
This project involves the Engineering design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a comprehensive fire protection system for crude oil & Naphtha storage tank farms. These facilities are specifically engineered to safely store large volumes of hydrocarbon fuels and are constructed using high-grade, corrosion-resistant materials capable of withstanding extreme environmental conditions.
The fire protection system is developed in accordance with internationally recognized safety codes, including NFPA standards, ensuring full regulatory compliance and operational integrity. Key components of the system include:
- Fixed Foam Suppression Systems for rapid fire control in open-top floating roof tanks
- Linear Heat Detection (LHD) for real-time temperature monitoring and early fire detection
- Automatic Deluge Valves and Sprinkler Systems for immediate response to fire events
- Fire Suppression System to prevent the fire during emergencies
- Toxic Gas and Flame Detection Systems for continuous risk monitoring across the tank farm
- Remote Monitoring and Control Panels for centralized system management and response coordination
Additional safety features include emergency isolation valves, hydrants, and access provisions for firefighting personnel and equipment.
This integrated approach ensures a robust, responsive fire protection strategy that enhances operational safety, minimizes environmental impact, and protects valuable fuel assets from fire-related incidents
